It all started with a personal need. A father's concern.
My daughter, who has Down syndrome, has a natural tendency to wander off and explore without warning. During school outings or moments outdoors, I felt the need for extra protection. A simple label or an engraved medal just didn't seem sufficient.
I then turned to QR codes. But very quickly, I understood that there were two realities: static QR codes, once printed, are frozen forever; dynamic QR codes, on the other hand, allow you to change a phone number, an emergency message or important information instantly, without buying a new physical support. It was exactly what I needed.
Unfortunately, while looking for a simple solution, I hit another reality: mandatory monthly subscriptions, opaque pricing, artificial limitations, hidden fees. I refused this model. So I decided to create my own.
What started as a solution to protect my family became a mission: to make this technology accessible, simple and transparent. QRForLife was born from this desire. Today, the project is based on clear principles:
- • No hidden fees
- • No mandatory subscription for essential use
- • A truly lifetime license
- • Total control for the user
I created my micro-enterprise to carry this project with seriousness and commitment, and I am committed to keeping this service active, stable and accessible for all those who want to protect what they hold most dear.
